Olivier and Laïla Pezeron, united by a shared passion for the ocean, the mountains and innovation, have created Ura Spirits: an artisanal distillery where French tradition and cutting-edge techniques meet overlooking the Atlantic.
URA SPIRITS: When Basque Water Meets French Innovation
“Ura” means “water” in Basque – the water that has always shaped the landscapes and character of our region. Located in Biarritz, facing the Atlantic Ocean , our distillery draws inspiration from this exceptional setting that guides each of our creations.
Between the strength of the ocean and the purity of the Pyrenean mountains, our spirits are imbued with this duality to offer creations that are both powerful and delicate.
The name "Ura Spirits" evokes an invigorating and authentic eau-de-vie, rooted in its terroir but looking to the future. Because while we deeply respect the traditions of French distilling, we don't hesitate to explore new avenues to reveal the best of each botanical.

THE TEAM
Together, they share a philosophy: that of a modern family distillery , where respectful innovation rubs shoulders with French tradition . Their complicity is reflected in every blend, every distillation, every decision that makes URA SPIRITS an emerging benchmark of French craftsmanship.
At 24, Laïla embodies the new generation of French liqueur makers. An agricultural engineer by training, she has a perfect command of botanical subtleties and develops recipes of striking creativity. Her youth and technical expertise make her the creator of our most innovative flavor profiles.
Passionate about the art of distillation and with extensive experience in the spirits industry, Olivier brings to Ura Spirits the rigor and precision necessary for excellence. A navigator and mountaineer, he draws from these roped experiences the values that guide our approach: sincerity, surpassing oneself, and team spirit.
