URA SPIRITS presents a unique blend crafted in Biarritz. It brings together a high-ester molasses rum – bursting with aromas of flambéed banana, citrus and custard cream – with a lighter molasses rum. The result: a perfectly balanced expression, both ideal for cocktails and delightful to enjoy neat, thanks to its indulgent and warm profile. Two islands, two oceans, one bottle.

RUM GUYANA

Stills: Blending of distillates mainly from the Versailles Single Wooden Pot Still and the Enmore Wooden Coffey Still, two historic wooden stills preserved by Diamond Distillery, heirs to the unique heritage of Demerara.

Aging: 5 years continental

Barrel: Ex-bourbon American oak

Rum style: British-style rum

Born in the alluvial soils of the Demerara River in Guyana, this rum continued its maturation for five years in our Biarritz cellar. Its ex-bourbon cask, placed at the entrance of the cellar and exposed to temperature variations as well as oceanic influences, benefits from a higher angel's share, promoting a remarkable aromatic concentration.

The nose opens with gourmand notes of vanilla, blond caramel, and coconut, quickly joined by aromas of ripe yellow fruits, cocoa, and dried fruit. On the palate, the texture is full and silky. The refined hallmarks of Demerara are expressed with perfect balance: precious woods, sweet spices, candied fruit, and delicate pastry notes imparted by American oak.

The proximity of the Atlantic Ocean seems to impart a subtle freshness that balances the rum's natural richness and prolongs the tasting experience. The finish is long, elegant, and harmonious, with notes of chocolate, toasted wood, and dried fruit.

Rum style: Traditional Hispanic Ron

Cask: Single Cask (600 bottles) / Madeira cask finish in our cellar

Rum profile: Syrup-based Ron, pure cane juice, indulgent, rich and vanilla-forward. Rounded, with the natural sweetness typical of Rons. Short fermentation. The perfect rum to pair with a cigar.
